KUALA LUMPUR, April 27 — The Selangor Royal Council has strongly condemned a social media post allegedly insulting the Sultan of Selangor.
Describing it as irresponsible, provocative and capable of disrupting public harmony in the multiracial state.
The council said the post, linked to a Facebook account named “Huayan The Pureland Learning Center”, included an edited image tied to sensitive issues.
And amounted to a serious insult to the royal institution. It urged the Royal Malaysia Police and MCMC to take firm action, adding that a police report has been lodged at the Shah Alam district headquarters.
