KUALA LUMPUR, April 28 — Police have identified the owner or administrator of a Facebook account named “Huayan The Pureland Learning Centre”.
In connection with an alleged offensive image involving the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah.
Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department director Datuk M Kumar said the probe, carried out with the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC).
Is being investigated under the Sedition Act 1948, Penal Code and Communications and Multimedia Act 1998. He added that 21 reports have been lodged nationwide.
With multiple witnesses already called in as investigations continue.
