BUKIT MERTAJAM, April 28 — Penang DAP chairman Steven Sim Chee Keong has urged party members to remain connected with the rakyat and not avoid public engagement due to fear of criticism.
He stressed that leaders must listen to concerns while clearly explaining government policies and achievements on the ground.
Speaking at the Democratic Action Party 60th anniversary celebration, Sim warned that failing to engage would allow opponents — including those within the government.
