PUTRAJAYA, April 30 — Road Transport Department Malaysia will implement a Single Sign-On system for the MyJPJ app using MyDigital ID starting May 1, 2026.
Director-General Aedy Fadly Ramli said the move aims to enhance cybersecurity and streamline access to services.
Users will rely solely on MyDigital ID for authentication, reducing multiple logins while improving data protection.
The MyJPJ app, with over 14 million users, offers services such as licence renewals and summons checks.
New features include a guest mode, 24-hour chatbot, and integrated JPJeBid and JPJeQ services. JPJ urged users aged 12 and above to activate their MyDigital ID ahead of the rollout.
