GEORGE TOWN, April 30 – The Penang state government continues to work well with its coalition partners and remains in a stable “status quo” position, said Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow.
He noted that while Malaysia’s political landscape is evolving, Penang’s administration remains focused on cooperation and continuity.
Chow said it is important for political parties to regularly assess their coalition partnerships, as alignments may differ from state to state depending on local needs and development goals.
He added that Penang’s State Legislative Assembly will proceed as scheduled on May 8, stressing that the government remains committed to stability, governance.
And delivering its development agenda despite broader national political developments.
