KUALA LUMPUR, May 2 — Crewstone International Sdn Bhd has announced a RM10 million strategic funding commitment to Island LandCap Properties Group.

To support the RM320.9 million Tasek Gelugor Xchange (TGX) mixed-use development in Penang, reinforcing its focus on asset-backed investments with near-term monetisation potential.

The project in Tasek Gelugor comprises 644 units across commercial and residential components, with anchor tenants including Starbucks, 7-Eleven.

Krispy Kreme and other major brands. Crewstone said the investment reflects confidence in Penang’s resilient property market.

Supported by rising transaction volumes, strong take-up rates and robust industrial growth, while TGX is expected to become a key commercial hub for the northern corridor.
