KUALA LUMPUR, May 3 — PETRONAS and ENEOS Xplora have reaffirmed their long-standing partnership through new agreements.
Enabling ENEOS’ re-entry into Malaysia LNG Tiga Sdn. Bhd., strengthening collaboration first established in 1995.
Under the deal, ENEOS will hold a 10% equity stake in MLNG Tiga for the next decade, subject to conditions.
The partnership supports long-term liquefied natural gas supply to key markets, especially Japan, amid global energy volatility.
PETRONAS President Tengku Muhammad Taufik said the collaboration underscores LNG’s critical role in energy security and Asia’s growing demand.
