KUALA LUMPUR, May 5 — Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim announced rental reductions at government-linked commercial premises starting this month to ease burdens on small traders.
The move will involve agencies such as Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) and UDA Holdings Berhad, with states and local councils urged to follow suit.
He also revealed plans to expand the Jualan Rahmah Madani into weekly events across all constituencies.
The programme, offering essential goods at discounted prices, aims to provide consistent relief amid rising living costs while ensuring participation from small traders nationwide.
