GEORGE TOWN, May 6 — The Penang Convention & Exhibition Bureau (Penang Convention & Exhibition Bureau) and Marriott International Malaysia have signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
To jointly develop the Penang Golf Challenge as an annual business networking platform. The partnership aims to strengthen Penang’s position as a regional hub for corporate events.
By bringing together industry leaders, investors, and decision-makers in a curated environment that encourages meaningful engagement.
The initiative, witnessed by Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow, is expected to enhance the state’s business events ecosystem under the Penang2030 vision.
Marriott International Malaysia said the collaboration reflects its commitment to creating experiences that connect people beyond hospitality.
While PCEB highlighted its role in driving long-term economic value. The Penang Golf Challenge will also support hospitality, tourism, and event-related industries.
With both parties confident it will grow into a signature annual platform for regional and international business engagement.
