KUALA LUMPUR, May 6 — The government has announced that Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) and Unifi TV will serve as the official broadcasters for the FIFA World Cup 2026 in Malaysia.
The initiative reflects the MADANI government’s commitment to ensuring inclusive, legal and widespread access for Malaysians through a collaboration with the private sector.
Coverage will span multiple platforms, including free-to-air via MYTV and streaming through RTMKlik and Unifi TV. All 104 matches will be broadcast live on Unifi TV.
While RTM will air a majority of matches either live or delayed. Additional programming, including grandstand shows from Angkasapuri.
And public viewing events nationwide, will further enhance fan engagement and accessibility.
