KUALA LUMPUR, May 6 – Samsung has introduced Hearapy, a new app designed to reduce motion sickness using sound-based technology.
The solution works by playing a 100Hz low-frequency tone through earbuds or headphones to stimulate the inner ear and restore balance, addressing the sensory mismatch that often causes nausea during travel.
Users may experience relief in as little as 60 seconds, with effects lasting up to two hours when used before a journey.
Developed by Samsung Malaysia Electronics, Hearapy is compatible with most audio devices but is optimised for the Galaxy Buds4 series for enhanced precision.
The innovation reflects Samsung’s focus on wellness-driven technology, offering a drug-free, accessible solution for everyday travel discomfort.
