BUKIT MERTAJAM, May 8 — The inaugural PETACE Cup 2026 Primary School 24 Festive Drums Competition will take place at SJK (C) Beng Teik (Pusat).
Bringing together young performers from Penang, Kedah and Perlis. Organised by Northern Drum Academy.
The event aims to provide a fair and professional platform to identify top primary school teams to represent the northern region at the national level.
The competition will be held in two sessions, with Kedah and Perlis teams performing at 1pm, followed by the Penang zone at 6.30pm.
Supported by the Penang Tourism and Creative Economy portfolio, the event highlights cultural arts development among youths.
While strengthening regional participation in the traditional 24 Festive Drums discipline.
