ALOR SETAR, May 9 — The official birthday celebration of the Sultan of Kedah, Al Aminul Karim Sultan Sallehuddin Sultan Badlishah, has been moved from June 21 to July 5 this year.
According to a state government letter signed by deputy state secretary (Management) Muhammad Mahazi Ibrahim dated May 6.
Following the amendment, the Kedah public holiday has also been revised to align with the new date. The notification was distributed to state and federal departments, statutory bodies and local authorities for further action.
