ALOR SETAR, May 10 – Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor said the Kedah government will seek the consent of Sultan Sallehuddin Sultan Badlishah regarding the positions of two assemblymen dismissed by Bersatu.
The matter involves Suka Menanti assemblyman Dzowahir Ab Ghani and Sungai Tiang assemblyman Abdul Razak Khamis.
Sanusi said both leaders are still carrying out their duties and continue supporting the Perikatan Nasional-led state government as Independent representatives.
He added that any decision involving their exco and deputy speaker positions must follow proper procedures and receive royal consent before further action is taken.
