KUALA LUMPUR, May 13 – Fugitive Malaysian financier Jho Low, whose full name is Low Taek Jho, has reportedly sought a pardon from former US President Donald Trump.

In an effort to clear criminal charges filed against him in the United States. According to reports by The Wall Street Journal.

The pardon request was submitted in recent weeks and could potentially remove the pending charges if approved.

The report stated that a US Justice Department website lists a pending application under the category “Pardon after Completion of Sentence” filed this year under Low’s name.

However, a White House official reportedly said the request is not currently being considered or actively discussed within the administration.

Reuters said it could not independently verify the report. Jho Low remains a fugitive linked to the multibillion-dollar 1MDB scandal that triggered global investigations and legal action across several countries.
