GEORGE TOWN, May 14 – Minister of Entrepreneur and Cooperatives Development and Bukit Mertajam MP Steven Sim Chee Keong presented RM237,000 in educational incentives.
To 370 outstanding SPM students from nine secondary schools during a ceremony at SMJK Jit Sin. The students achieved 8As and above, with awards ranging from RM500 to RM1,000 based on results.
Steven said the achievements reflected improving education standards in Bukit Mertajam and reminded students that success was built on the support of parents, families and teachers.
He also encouraged youths to become compassionate individuals and called on corporations and financial institutions to continue investing in education for future generations.
