KUALA LUMPUR, May 16 — Sony Electronics has unveiled the FE 100-400mm F4.5 GM OSS, the latest addition to its flagship G Master lens lineup for full-frame Alpha E-mount cameras.
Designed for wildlife, sports and photojournalism creators, the new super-telephoto zoom lens offers a constant F4.5 aperture.
Enhanced image quality and autofocus speeds up to three times faster than its predecessor. Weighing approximately 1,840g.
And featuring an internal zoom structure, the lens is built for improved mobility and balance during extended shooting sessions.
The lens incorporates advanced optical technology, including ED XA, Super ED and XA elements for sharp image quality and signature G Master bokeh.
Sony said the lens also supports autofocus tracking improvements of around 50 per cent and works with the Alpha 9 III’s continuous shooting at up to 120fps.
Built with dust and moisture resistance, in-body stabilization support and customizable controls, the FE 100-400mm F4.5 GM OSS will be available from May 2026 at a suggested retail price of RM17,999.
