KUALA LUMPUR, May 16 — Wawasan Open University (WOU) has received the Malaysian Digital Learning Excellence and Leadership Award at the 9th Malaysian Education and Learning Summit.
Chief executive and vice chancellor Lily Chan accepted the award from Zaki Tun Azmi, recognising WOU’s leadership in advancing digital open and distance learning.
Prof Chan said universities must evolve into talent platforms that support continuous skills development, adding that flexible learning.
And industry integration are key to preparing graduates for a changing workforce.
