KUALA LUMPUR, May 17 – Former PKR leaders Rafizi Ramli and Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad announced they will officially leave PKR on Tuesday.
While vacating their parliamentary seats in Pandan and Setiawangsa effective Monday, May 18. Both leaders are expected to submit formal letters to the Dewan Rakyat Speaker and PKR secretary-general.
As part of their exit process, marking a major political shift ahead of GE16. The move comes shortly after Rafizi and Nik Nazmi confirmed their takeover of Parti Bersama Malaysia.
As their new political platform under the BERSAMA movement. The decision is expected to trigger by-elections and intensify speculation over political realignments within the reform bloc.
Their departure also signals a dramatic new chapter in Malaysia’s political landscape as both leaders seek to chart a new direction outside PKR.
