KUALA LUMPUR, May 17 — SEMICON Southeast Asia 2026 concluded at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) after drawing nearly 20,000 attendees.
From over 57 countries and regions. Organised by SEMI with support from Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry and Malaysian Investment Development Authority.
The event highlighted Southeast Asia’s growing importance in the global semiconductor supply chain, particularly in IC design and advanced packaging.
More than 700 companies participated across 1,519 booths and 10 global pavilions, featuring discussions on AI, sustainability, advanced packaging and workforce development.
Malaysia’s National Semiconductor Strategy, targeting over RM500 billion in investments, was also highlighted. Organisers confirmed SEMICON SEA will return to Kuala Lumpur from May 25 to 27, 2027.
