JOHOR BAHRU, May 18 — Pakatan Harapan (PH) deputy chairman Anthony Loke has proposed that the coalition contest all 36 state seats in Negeri Sembilan.

As a response to Barisan Nasional’s (BN) decision to contest all 56 seats in Johor. Speaking at the PH Convention 2026, Loke said PH should fight for every constituency and mirror BN’s strategy.

Loke also suggested PH contest all seats in Johor and warned that if the Johor state assembly is dissolved, Negeri Sembilan could follow suit.

His remarks highlighted rising tensions between PH and BN despite both being partners in the federal unity government.

Johor BN’s earlier announcement to contest all seats appears to have intensified discussions over future electoral cooperation ahead of upcoming state polls.
