KUALA LUMPUR, May 18 – Former PKR leaders Rafizi Ramli and Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad have officially taken over Parti Bersama Malaysia.
Unveiling a renewed political direction under the BERSAMA platform ahead of GE16. Announced at the PJ Performing Arts Centre before a packed crowd of about 1,000 supporters.
The move marks a significant political realignment as both leaders seek to build a reform-driven movement focused on younger voters and grassroots support.
The party outlined an ambitious 12-point agenda aimed at structural reforms, including a national social protection system, reducing reliance on foreign labour.
Expanding early education, improving healthcare access, institutional reforms, and positioning Malaysia as Southeast Asia’s “battery hub.”
Rafizi said politics must return “to the many and not a few,” while the movement pledged to prioritise transparency, integrity and long-term solutions for Malaysia’s economic and social challenges.
