GEORGE TOWN, May 20 — Penang will host the Penang Green Summit 2026 on November 12–13 under the theme “AI for Sustainability.”
As the state aims to strengthen its position as a hub for AI-driven environmental innovation. Penang EXCO chairman Sundaraoo Somu said AI can accelerate sustainable development.
And support the Penang2030 vision. The summit will showcase AI applications in energy, mobility, waste management, climate action and governance.
Organisers are also inviting industry leaders, academic institutions, startups and strategic partners to collaborate in shaping sustainable solutions for the future.
