SHAH ALAM, May 20 — Seri Kembangan assemblywoman Wong Siew Ki has expressed her respect and loyalty to the Sultan of Selangor.
Following the ruler’s recent statement on the importance of understanding and upholding the principles of the Rukun Negara.
In a social media post, Wong said the principles of the Rukun Negara continue to guide and inspire her in carrying out her responsibilities as an elected representative.
She reiterated her commitment to the five principles — belief in God, loyalty to King and country, supremacy of the Constitution, rule of law, and courtesy and morality.
While stressing that her actions would continue to prioritise the interests of Selangor and Malaysia. Wong ended her statement with “Daulat Tuanku.”
