GEORGE TOWN, May 22 — Angkatan Koperasi Kebangsaan Malaysia Berhad (ANGKASA) and the ASEAN Co-operative Organization (ACO) have strengthened regional economic cooperation.
Through a strategic business matching programme involving the Indonesia-Malaysia-Thailand Growth Triangle (IMT-GT) business community in Penang.
The two-day programme aims to connect selected Penang cooperatives with regional market players and strategic partners under the IMT-GT framework.
ANGKASA president Abdul Fattah Abdullah said the initiative targets at least three high-impact business partnerships.
The event gathered delegates from 10 ASEAN countries, alongside representatives from IMT-GT business councils.
Chambers of commerce and corporate groups to discuss future market expansion and cooperative development plans for 2026 and 2027.
