KUALA LUMPUR, May 23 — Housing and Local Government Minister Nga Kor Ming said Malaysia’s rise to seventh place in the 2026 Edelman Trust Barometer.

Reflects growing confidence in the country’s governance, institutions and economic direction. Malaysia’s Trust Index reportedly increased from 66 points in 2025 to 71 points this year.
