SEREMBAN, May 23 — Mohamad Hasan said dissolving the Negeri Sembilan state assembly may be the best solution to the ongoing political crisis.
Involving Menteri Besar Aminuddin Harun. Following the withdrawal of support by 14 Barisan Nasional assemblymen.
Mohamad said Aminuddin should be allowed to prove he still commands majority support in the assembly.
While stressing that any dissolution of a state assembly, including Johor’s, remains the absolute prerogative of the ruler.
He added that Johor Menteri Besar Onn Hafiz Ghazi would advise Sultan Ibrahim on the appropriate timing for state elections.
Mohamad also urged all parties to handle political tensions responsibly to avoid causing public anxiety.
