KUALA LUMPUR, May 24 — JAG Berhad posted a strong first quarter performance for FY2026, recording a profit after tax of RM5.37 million compared to a loss of RM6.43 million a year earlier.
Revenue rose 39 per cent year-on-year to RM64.58 million, driven mainly by stronger contributions from its core Total Waste Management business and higher precious metal prices.
Executive director Ng Meow Giak said the results reflected improved margin efficiency and stronger recovery capabilities.
The company also declared a first interim dividend of RM0.002 per share payable on June 25, while remaining optimistic about FY2026 supported by sustained precious metal demand and downstream processing expansion.
