SHAH ALAM, May 24 — Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA), Daikin Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. and Selangor Human Resource Development Centre (SHRDC).
Have partnered to help Malaysian SMEs strengthen their competitiveness and participate more actively in global manufacturing supply chains.
The programme, held at SHRDC in Shah Alam, gathered over 100 participants including SMEs, financial institutions and industry partners.
Sessions focused on supplier requirements, smart manufacturing, digital transformation and financing support.
MIDA said the initiative aims to strengthen local supplier ecosystems and support Malaysia’s industrial development goals under the New Industrial Master Plan 2030.
