KUALA LUMPUR, May 25 — Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil today launched the Belia Kreatif Komuniti MADANI programme aimed at empowering nearly 16,000 youths.

To explore opportunities in Malaysia’s creative industry. Speaking at Pavilion Bukit Jalil during the closing ceremony of National Youth Day 2026.

Fahmi announced that applications for the RM5 million Dana Pemangkin Generasi MADANI fund will open from June 1 to June 30, 2026.

The fund supports productions in categories including telemovies, documentaries, short films and animation.

He also welcomed a new strategic collaboration between Perbadanan Kemajuan Filem Nasional Malaysia (FINAS) and TikTok.

To help local youth creators expand their reach internationally through digital platforms and global technology support.
