PUTRAJAYA, May 26 — The Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan (JPJ) has agreed to immediately restore its online vehicle ownership transfer service following concerns over disruptions.
Caused by the temporary suspension announced earlier. Transport Minister Anthony Loke said the decision was made after discussions with JPJ director-general Aedy Fadly Ramli.
JPJ had initially suspended the service to address abuse and fraud involving the online transfer system across platforms including MyEG and eAuto.
Loke said future system enhancement works would only be carried out during the upcoming long holiday weekend to minimise inconvenience and avoid congestion at JPJ offices.
While ensuring necessary security improvements are implemented.
