BAYAN LEPAS, May 27 — Monitor ERP System SEA hosted an exclusive celebration for badminton legend Viktor Axelsen in Penang. Marking his first major public appearance in Malaysia since announcing his retirement from professional badminton in April.
The event, held at Monitor ERP’s headquarters in Tanjong Tokong and the MBPP Relau Sport Complex. Featured interactive badminton sessions, meet-and-greet activities and live Q&A sessions with fans.
Monitor ERP SEA chief executive officer Daniel Häggmark said the celebration highlighted Axelsen’s continued connection with Southeast Asian fans. Despite stepping away from competitive badminton. Axelsen also expressed gratitude to supporters and partners.
Saying his journey beyond professional sports would continue through meaningful collaborations and community engagement.
