GEORGE TOWN, May 27 — Penang Convention & Exhibition Bureau (PCEB) and Edaran Otomobil Nasional Berhad(EON Berhad) have signed a memorandum of understanding.
To strengthen Penang’s business events ecosystem through sustainable mobility and cross-industry collaboration.
Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow said the partnership supports Penang2030 and the state’s sustainability agenda by introducing electric vehicles into conferences and business events.
PCEB chief executive officer Ashwin Gunasekeransaid the collaboration would enhance Penang’s competitiveness as a regional business events destination.
While EON chief operating officer Azwan Yahaya highlighted its role in promoting greener transport solutions.
