KUALA LUMPUR, May 29 – Direct Selling Association of Malaysia (DSAM) has launched the 4th Edition of its Code of Conduct to address the rapid growth of digital and social commerce.

The revised code introduces clearer guidelines for digital transactions, stronger enforcement procedures and updated standards for consumer protection and online conduct.

DSAM’s Independent Code Administrator Noor Hisham Abdullah said ethical conduct must become a daily standard for industry leaders and distributors.

DSAM president Zaihan Arifin added that the association is working with the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living to strengthen ethical direct selling practices.

As Malaysia’s direct selling industry recorded RM34.4 billion in contributions in 2024.
