KUALA LUMPUR, May 29 – Financial Industry Collective Outreach (FINCO) says students from lower-income families have gained stronger awareness of career pathways.
After participating in its annual ACE (Aspire Career and Education) Camp. The three-day programme, designed for SPM leavers.
Combines resume writing workshops, mock interviews, panel sessions and workplace visits to improve employability and industry understanding.
According to FINCO CEO Clare Walker, 96% of participants were able to identify next steps for their future, while 98% recognised key skills needed for their goals.
The camp included exposure to industries such as banking, aviation, education and technology, with visits to companies like AmBank and Electronic Arts Malaysia.
Alongside mentorship support from financial sector professionals.
