JOHOR BAHRU, May 29 — Johor Menteri Besar Onn Hafiz Ghazi has announced that the submission period for the fourth phase of Bantuan Kasih Johor (BKJ) has been extended until June 28.
Giving more time for eligible recipients to obtain assistance. The state government has also introduced several improvements to streamline the process.
Including increasing the number of review and payment counters, extending operating hours to 12 hours in Johor Bahru, and providing dedicated complaint and enquiry counters.
Onn Hafiz said waiting areas will be available at high-volume locations, while next-of-kin representatives can collect aid on behalf of recipients who are unable to attend.
Volunteers from Southern Volunteers will assist senior citizens and persons with disabilities throughout the distribution process.
