JOHOR BAHRU, May 30 — Johor Barisan Nasional (BN) will hold its state convention on June 14 as part of efforts to strengthen the coalition’s unity, direction and preparations ahead of future political challenges.
Johor Menteri Besar and state BN chairman Onn Hafiz Ghazi said the decision was made during a state BN meeting held today.
He described the convention as an important platform to refine strategies, enhance cooperation among component parties and ensure the continued implementation of the Maju Johor agenda.
The meeting also noted the return of People’s Progressive Party (MyPPP) to BN following an announcement by coalition chairman Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.
Onn Hafiz said Johor BN remains committed to strengthening cooperation with MyPPP and consolidating its machinery across the state.
