PUTRAJAYA, June 1 — The Ministry of Finance Malaysia has clarified that the monthly BUDI95 fuel subsidy quota remains unchanged at 200 litres after some users reported seeing a reduced limit of 150 litres.
During a system maintenance period. The ministry said the incorrect display appeared during scheduled maintenance at 11pm on May 31 and was caused by a technical error.
That has since been identified and corrected. It stressed that there has been no change to the monthly quota for eligible BUDI95 recipients, including for June 2026.
The ministry also apologised for any confusion caused and reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring the targeted fuel subsidy programme is implemented smoothly, transparently and efficiently for eligible Malaysians.
