KUALA LUMPUR, June 2 — Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said the government will continue strengthening targeted assistance programmes and refining the RON95 fuel subsidy mechanism.

Anwar said Malaysia faces challenges from global economic uncertainty, climate issues, technological change and geopolitical tensions.
Despite these pressures, he said the economy remains resilient, supported by strong investments, low unemployment and growing investor confidence.
He also reaffirmed the government’s commitment to improving healthcare, education and support for lower-income communities nationwide.
