TAIPEI, June 3 — Dell Technologies has introduced a redesigned XPS 13 at Computex 2026, marking the most affordable entry in the premium laptop lineup with a starting price of US$699.
The new model is aimed directly at Apple’s MacBook Neo, offering a thinner and lighter design while retaining several premium features typically found in higher-end XPS systems.
The new XPS 13 weighs just one kilogram and measures 12.7mm thick, making it the lightest and thinnest XPS laptop ever produced.
It comes standard with a 13.4-inch 2.5K touchscreen display, backlit keyboard, Intel Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, Windows Hello support and quad speakers.
Powered initially by Intel Core Series 3 processors, with Intel Core Ultra Series 3 models arriving later, the laptop offers up to 32GB of memory and 1TB of storage.
Dell said the device delivers up to 17 hours of streaming battery life and is designed for students and young professionals seeking premium features at a more accessible price point.
Eligible students will be able to purchase the laptop from US$599 during the back-to-school season.
