KUALA LUMPUR, June 4 – The Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers (AICB) recognised more than 700 banking professionals at its 9th Chartered Banker Conferment Ceremony in Kuala Lumpur.
Including members from Cambodia, the Maldives and the Philippines. The event highlighted AICB’s growing regional presence and commitment to strengthening professional standards in the financial sector.
AICB said the banking industry must accelerate workforce readiness amid rapid changes in AI, digital assets and sustainability demands.
The ceremony saw seven leaders awarded Fellow Chartered Banker status, while Public Bank and Maybank received recognition for advancing professional development and producing future-ready banking talent.
