KUALA LUMPUR, June 4 — Parti Bersama Malaysia (Bersama) has confirmed it will contest the 2026 Johor state election, marking the party’s first electoral test since its relaunch on May 17.
The decision was finalised following discussions among party leaders and members nationwide, with further talks underway to determine the seats it will contest in Johor.
Bersama leaders Rafizi Ramli and Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad said the election provides an opportunity to introduce the party to Johor voters.
While building and testing its election machinery ahead of future polls. The party will also launch its nationwide “Jelajah Kancil” roadshow in Johor on June 6 at Danga Bay Convention Centre.
The programme will tour multiple states, highlighting Bersama’s 12 key policy agendas and promoting what it describes as a positive, innovative and future-focused political campaign.
