KUALA LUMPUR, June 4 — Citaglobal Bhd has secured a RM37.79 million subcontract for the Penang LRT Mutiara Line project through its wholly owned subsidiary, Citaglobal Land Sdn Bhd.
The subcontract, awarded by SRS Consortium Sdn Bhd, covers the construction and completion of long-span and special-span structures between KOMTAR and East Jelutong.
Citaglobal said the contract was won through a competitive tender process and requires the submission of a RM1.88 million performance bond within 14 days of the letter of award.
The company added that the new project increases its outstanding order book to approximately RM1.45 billion.
The Penang LRT Mutiara Line is a major infrastructure project aimed at improving public transportation connectivity across the state.
