SEREMBAN, June 4 — Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Aminuddin Harun announced tonight that the Negeri Sembilan State Legislative Assembly has been dissolved.
With the consent of Yang di-Pertuan Besar Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir. The dissolution will take effect on June 5, paving the way for the next state election.
Aminuddin said the decision was made in accordance with the Negeri Sembilan Constitution and all required procedures.
The state government will now notify the Election Commission of Malaysia (SPR), which will determine nomination and polling dates.
He also indicated that Pakatan Harapan component parties have reached broad agreement on seat allocations, with final details expected to be confirmed next week as preparations for the state election intensify.
