ALMATY, June 5 — AirAsia MOVE, Intebix and the Solana Foundation have signed a Letter of Intent to explore integrating Evo (KTZE), a Kazakhstan tenge-denominated stablecoin.
Into the AirAsia MOVE platform in Kazakhstan. The collaboration aims to expand digital payment options and improve travel booking experiences using blockchain technology.
The initiative will evaluate technical, legal and regulatory requirements within Kazakhstan’s regulatory sandbox framework.
AirAsia MOVE said the project could eventually allow travellers to book flights and hotels using stablecoins and other digital assets.
Intebix chief executive officer Talgat Dossanov said the partnership focuses on creating practical real-world uses for digital assets beyond speculation.
