KUALA LUMPUR, June 5 — Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has expressed confidence in Tenaga Nasional Berhad(TNB) to lead Malaysia’s energy transition.
While supporting the rapid growth of artificial intelligence, data centres and digital infrastructure investments.
Speaking at the Energy Transition Conference 2026 (ETCon26), Anwar said Malaysia’s strategic location and competitive investment environment.
Continue to attract major technology investments, particularly in Johor and Sarawak. He stressed that energy security, affordability and sustainability must remain priorities.
