KUALA LUMPUR, June 5 — Mastercard has launched the Mastercard Artist Accelerator SEA programme in collaboration with SoundOn to support emerging music talent in Indonesia and Thailand.
The initiative aims to provide mentorship, live showcases, digital music education and fan engagement opportunities for local artists.
The programme is designed to help artists build sustainable careers in Southeast Asia’s growing creator economy while connecting fans and Mastercard cardholders with exclusive music experiences.
Mastercard said the initiative reflects rising demand for local music content across the region and forms part of its broader effort to strengthen Southeast Asia’s creative economy.
