KUALA LUMPUR, June 6 — Senheng New Retail Berhad recorded revenue of RM250.84 million for the first quarter ended March 31, 2026.
Amid softer consumer spending on higher-ticket electronics products. The group posted a loss before tax of RM1.5 million compared to a profit of RM5.6 million a year earlier.
Mainly due to weaker sales momentum and the absence of a one-off land disposal gain recorded previously.
Despite this, Senheng strengthened its operating cash flow and increased cash reserves to RM102.5 million.
Managing director Lim Kim Hengsaid the company remains focused on expanding its S-Coin ecosystem and Point-Based Economy strategy to strengthen long-term customer engagement.
