JOHOR BAHRU, June 7 — PAS Johor has activated its election machinery and begun preparations for the 16th Johor state election following the dissolution of the State Assembly.
Johor PAS commissioner Mahfodz Mohamed said the party will enter the election based on directives and decisions made by PAS central leadership.
He said PAS respects the democratic process and Malaysia’s constitutional monarchy while calling on Johoreans to participate in the upcoming polls.
Separately, the PAS Syura Council expressed concern over internal issues within Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia and has entrusted PAS central leadership to determine the party’s next course of action.
