SUNGAI PETANI, June 8 — Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has approved an additional RM1 million allocation for AIMST University to support students from underprivileged families.
On top of the institution’s annual RM25 million government grant. Speaking at the university’s annual grant presentation ceremony.
Anwar said the Madani Government remains committed to ensuring access to higher education for disadvantaged students.
He added that education remains a national priority despite global economic challenges, noting that Malaysia’s unemployment rate is at a historic low.
While investment performance has reached record levels. The Prime Minister said continued investment in education is essential.
